Typically, running a WSUS reset script fixes most WSUS communication issues, but not this time. We have hundreds of clients on our WSUS (2012 R2) server, and this is only one I know of (so far) that has this scenario. I’ve tried everything I can possibly find on the web. Even after fully updating from Microsoft Update, it still can’t check from the WSUS server. When checking for updates on Microsoft Update, it gets updates just fine. On a Win 7圆4 box (unfortunately, it’s one of my boss’s VMs), it gets error 80072EFE when checking updates from our WSUS server.
